Hello there!
My name is Alycia Margaret.
I live in the midwest (specifically South Bend, IN).
I am a wife and momma. Married 9 years to Attila. Our wedding song, in which we danced for the first time as husband and wife, was by an artist named Joe Zambon entitled, "The Day of the Joy of our Hearts".
And marriage and family life has been just that: the joy of my heart. When I was young, in middle school in fact, when I had first come to know the Lord, I very quickly found in my heart a deep longing and desire to get married and have children. No, I would actually call it an "ache".
Shortly after the Lord placed a calling on my heart for marriage, He also roused in my heart a love for all things Catholic ministry: doing retreats, giving talks, praying at adoration, leading small groups, writing encouraging notes to retreatants, studying theology. In high school my life revolved around my youth group.
In college, I formally studied Theology and Catechetics (aka Religious Education) and my passions and aches grew and grew to serve the Lord in His Church.
Fast forward to now: my husband and I have made working for the Church our livlihood all while raising 3 beautiful children. There are so many ups and downs to our life. But as time goes on, and as we go through hills and valleys to our life, the call on my heart to ministry has only grown.
So, here I am, starting this little corner in the internet and social media world as a way for me to continue to explore how God is leading me to serve Him. My passion and excitement come from writing, planning, and being creative about all things ministry and my vocation as a wife and mother certainly give fuel to that passion.
I hope you enjoy being blessed by the blessings in my life!
